What I was building while I wasn't writing
Hey, quick one... it’s been a while since anything from me landed in your inbox, and that part’s on me.
If you follow me on (Substack) Notes or LinkedIn you may have seen things picking back up over the last couple of weeks. I’m back properly, and next Monday, the 17th, I’m publishing the piece I’ve been building toward since I started writing again after the long silence.
This is what happened over that period : I started noticing a pattern across a few hundred deals, and instead of just writing about it, I built something to check whether the pattern was real or just me seeing what I wanted to see. That question, more than anything else, is what pulled me back. Together with the strong nudge from my friend in Saudi Arabia, who said I should get back into it.
On Monday you’ll get the full answer... including the parts I’m less comfortable with, and a way to check my work yourself. Excited to share next week.
